General Information
There are many places to play volleyball during the summer months. This year, CBVA has a permit with the City of Boston to play volleyball at Joe Moakley Park in South Boston. CBVA members of all levels combine to play outdoor 6's on grass courts on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 PM until dusk, and Sundays from 2:00 pm to dusk.

Outdoor play typically begins the first Sunday in June and typically ends the last Sunday in August. The last day of outdoor play for this year will be September 5, 2010.

From the T
Take the Red Line to the JFK/UMass T-stop. Walk to the Joe Moakley Park using the map below.
From North of Boston
Take Rt 93 south to exit 15 (Columbia Rd), go left at bottom of ramp (under Rt 93) and head towards the rotary, take second right off of rotary onto Day Blvd. Parking for Joe Moakley Park is on the right about 150 yard past the State Police Station on your right.
From West of Boston
Take Rt 90 (Mass Turnpike) east to Rt 93 south to exit 15 (Columbia Rd), go left at bottom of ramp (under Rt 93) and head towards the rotary, take second right off of rotary onto Day Blvd. Parking for Joe Moakley Park is on the right about 150 yard past the State Police Station on your right.
From South of Boston
Take Route 95 North to routes 128 & 93 North towards Boston. As you approach Braintree (about six miles) stay in left lanes and you will enter the South East Expressway (a.k.a. Rt 93) heading north towards Boston, exit the expressway on your right at exit 15 (Columbia Rd) go right at end of ramp and head toward rotary, take second right off of rotary onto Day Blvd. Parking for Joe Moakley Park is on the right about 150 yard past the State Police Station on your right.
