The CBVA Board needs your help to keep volleyball running smoothly each Sunday. We kindly request that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the cut-off time for each session. The cut-off times for each session are as follows:
Unfortunately, you may no longer sign-in other players who are running late. We appreciate your assistance in signing-in at least 15 minutes prior to the beginning of play.
2. Leaving Early
If you plan to leave a session early, please notify a CBVA Board Member before signing-in. Individuals who have left two or more sessions early -- without advance notification -- may be barred from future play.
3. Safety First
Individuals playing in Advanced or Intermediate that appear to be a danger to themselves or others on the court will be asked to play in the next level down. In addition, players not performing at the level of play may be asked to participate in clinics to improve their skills and/or asked to play in the next level down. Questions about safety on the court should be directed to the Board Members in your division.
4. Keep the Gym Clean
Over the past several weeks, Board Members from the Recreational Division have spent extra time cleaning up the mess created by our players. Please be courteous and dispose of your trash appropriately. There is a large trash container just outside the gym that is lined with a trash bag for your convenience. We appreciate your assistance with this matter.
5. Boston Beantown Classic Tournament
The CBVA Board is still seeking volunteers to help prepare for the Boston Beantown Classic Tournament. Please contact the CBVA Secretary if you are interested in helping us organize this tournament. Without your assistance, we will not be holding this tournament this year.
