RFTT and a Few Announcements
This past Saturday’s Race for the Tiara was a huge success! Congratulations to our new reigning Queen Eugina, who debuted her brand of Asian-inspired kitschy and comedic drag to win the crown!
A big thanks to our other drag queens, Sally Monela, Sister Consuela CanSwallow and the von Tramps, and of course our hostess Evianna Waters, as well as Rob V for some great performances! Also, thank you to our hot tip boys, our panel of judges, our volunteers, the BLC, and of course you, as the show couldn’t have been possible without everyone’s support .
The Annual Membership Meeting is coming up in May! If you are interested in attending, please fill out dates that work for you in an anonymous survey here.
Many thanks to Marc Fernandez, who will be the new tournament director for our Boston Beantown Classic, to be held in September 2013!
Also, some words of encouragement on the upcoming NAGVA Championship XXXI in Calgary from the board. Please e-mail email@example.com and let us know if your team is competing!
IT’S AFFORDABLE – We have seen a significant reduction in airfare costs from most major destinations. Combine that with the discounted registration fee and amazing hotel rates, and NAGVA Championships XXXI has fantastic value!
NAGVA IS FLEXIBLE – We want to ensure that we capture every member and team who is interested in participating in NAGVA Championships XXXI. We are committed to being flexible with previous Championship playing requirements to ensure we reach this goal. Players/Teams can submit their requests to firstname.lastname@example.org.
CALGARY IS BEAUTIFUL - Calgary is a destination like no other: a mix of dynamic big-city energy, cheerful western hospitality and wondrous natural beauty. An urban centre surrounded on all sides by scenic Canadian vistas, Calgary is truly a base camp for adventure.

We will be announcing cancellations or anything else that will impact play for outdoor volleyball here. We will do our best to post cancellations by 5pm, but assume that volleyball is canceled if there is at least a 60% chance of precipitation forecast.
